Growing up in small town Iowa, Kristie fostered a life-long passion for homes, and architecture in general. She swung her first hammer at the age of nine, helping with the remodel of a neighborhood home. This evolved into years of home remodeling projects, including her most recent renovation of a 1930’s bungalow.

Kristie’s love of homes turned into a degree in interior design and a decade-long career assisting builders and families build and design homes and furniture to fit their needs. Her design and renovation skills come in handy when working with clients.
